.My love and respect for the German Shepherd goes back to my childhood. My father brought home our first German Shepherd in 1971 when I was 5 years old, her name was Penny. Ever since then, I was hooked on the breed. The German Shepherds' intelligence and loyalty are unbelievable.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Irene and my husband's name is George. We live in Twining, Michigan. I have been around German Shepherds my whole life. We started breeding to produce German Shepherds that are intelligent, with great working ability and sound temperament.

Pictured at right is my Dad at 81 with his German Shepherd "Bruno". They walk together everyday and keep each other company. My Dad could never imagine owning any other breed.
